Deer in the Headlights

I think I'm going to have to outfit myself with one of these helmet-mounted lasers like everyone else. This pic was taken in completely darkened woods other than the 500 lumen powered blaster mounted on top of Liz. (and it's considered pretty weak by biking standards). I think Jill M. here was blinded... but only temporarily.

It was a pretty great ride. Woolastook is pretty great for fast trails with good flow. Lots of good Muck Huckin'! We had Jules drop down a pretty good chute and then execute a perfect front flip (over the bars) in slow-motion at the bottom. I wish I had the camera out for the expression on her face. Also notable was the disfiguring of a real wheel. Ahead of me all I heard leading up to this was 'whoooowww   epic crash dude!'  Not sure who said it.
